And I’m still bubbling away on my idea for a composer’s circle. It got shelved temporarily; my duet is putting all available resources into our launch. So until that happens, I’m in trouble if I start any other projects.

But I think that once it’s up and running it won’t be such a time suck as it will infuse and structure my composing time – making me more musically productive. Or that’s the hope.

2. Thank you for sharing about your struggles. I hear your pain. I’ve teetered on the brink, (or maybe at the bottom) of dark places myself. And I’m generally a pretty chipper guy, so that freaks the people around me. Feedback loop. I either go numb or tumble deeper.

Clouds dissipate.

There lies my courage.
