The perils of screwing around with someone else’s theme, and hoping that you can change in enough to make it yours. Ah well. I’ve decided that I’m not going to bother too much with the theme for now, just so I can focus on actually getting stuff up here. What stuff, you may ask?
Well, stuff like words, sounds, maybe a bit of an audio blog, maybe not. I want a place where I can just post some music I’m working on and not care about signing up or what my rating is or shit like that, and I figured “Hey, I wasn’t doing anything with my website as it was, why not fix it up and actually use it?”
Self, you are right. So, as time goes on, this place will look more and more like it’s mine. Although this background picture is nice, it’s not me, or mine. For anyone reading this post after I’ve changed everything, I’m currently using the “Openair” theme.
With this post, I’m putting up a quick little demo I did for the RPM Challenge that I failed horribly at. It’s a track called “Acquaintances” (Safari tells me I just spelled that right. Whoo! First try!)
Almost a year ago (Sept 27th) an old friend of mine passed away. We hadn’t really spoken since we graduated, but I grew up with him. Parts of me are still trying to deal with it all. We weren’t that close, but when you go over to a friends house for a birthday party or two, or just to hang out, when you work with them on various school projects, when you consider them part of the group you hang out with during your junior high years, yeah, they’re a friend.
Thinking of you, Brad.
Acquaintances
The drums are off a bit, but I haven’t touched it since I sat down and made it.
